The Employee Attendance Application is a digital system designed to help companies manage employee attendance in a more secure, accurate, and structured way. The system combines location validation and biometric verification to ensure that attendance records are submitted by the correct employee and from an authorized location.

Employees can clock in and clock out through the application using face recognition for identity verification and location lock to validate their attendance location. Attendance time and status are automatically recorded and stored in the system for easier monitoring and management.

In addition to daily attendance, the application includes a leave management feature that allows employees to submit leave requests digitally while enabling the company to review and manage those requests through the system.

The Challenge

Manual attendance processes or systems that rely only on time records can create risks such as proxy attendance, attendance from unauthorized locations, and difficulties in managing and consolidating employee attendance data.

The company needed an attendance system capable of verifying employee identity, validating attendance locations, automatically recording attendance times, and managing employee leave within a single platform.

The Approach

We developed the attendance system by combining multiple layers of verification into the employee attendance process.

Each attendance action uses face recognition for identity verification and location locking to validate whether the employee is within the authorized attendance area. Clock-in and clock-out data is then recorded and organized within the system.

To support employee administration, a digital leave management module was also integrated into the platform, allowing employees to submit leave requests and management to review and process them efficiently.

The Solution

We developed the Employee Attendance Application, a location-based and biometric attendance system featuring:

- Location Lock — restricts attendance based on predefined authorized locations.
- Face Recognition — verifies employee identity using facial recognition technology.
- Clock In — records the employee's start-of-work time.
- Clock Out — records the employee's end-of-work time.
- Attendance Records — stores and manages employee attendance history.
- Leave Management — allows employees to submit leave requests online.
- Leave Approval — enables management to review and process leave requests.
- Employee Management — manages employee profiles and attendance-related information.

The Results

The Employee Attendance Application provides a more controlled, verified, and structured attendance management process.

By combining location locking with face recognition, the company can improve the reliability of attendance verification and reduce the risk of attendance misuse. Clock-in and clock-out records are stored digitally, making employee attendance easier to monitor and manage.

The integrated leave management feature also helps digitalize employee administration by allowing leave requests and approvals to be handled within the same platform.
